Shirts and Zombies

With all the excitement buzzing in the air here at Bad Apple Shirts, you’d think we were at a summertime mosquito farm!  Luckily for us we didn’t eat the bananas.  We’ve finally come out of the Dark Ages and purchased a silk screen for our shop!  No more printing shirts by hand for us!  We’ve just received a 4-colour press from the fine people at Ryonet.  There was a glitch in the order, so we’re still waiting on a new bolt for our platen, but once it arrives, we’ve got shirts to do!  We’ll also be printing up some sample shirts to send out for free ($5 for shipping) for organizations that wish to consider us to fulfill their t-shirt needs.  Stay tuned for updates.

With Halloween just around the corner, it’s no wonder we’d be talking about Zombies.  We think you’ll like the comic strip Ted & Zed by Mac L. Pirata.  Here’s a quick bio of Ted and Zed:

“Meet Ted and his zombie buddy Zed.  They go way back.  When Zed isn’t trying to eat Ted, they enjoy normal bachelor activities: Hanging out, playing video games, and doing a horrible job of picking up chicks.  Follow our odd-couple as they do what they do.”

Ted has to remind his buddy Zed that their are boundaries in their relationship. One of these boundaries is the

If you’re gonna let a chick stab you in the heart…

Here’s something for all you geeks that live in and around the Orlando, Florida area.  Those guys over at A Comic Shop are hosting a signing at their shop to promote the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  If you’re into this sort of thing then we suggest you hop on your segway and scoot your way over to their shop in Winter Park on Friday, October 26.  You’ll be able to get your overpriced stuff defaced by artist Georges Jeanty!  We’ll be there!  Fourth-dimensionally speaking, of course.

They’re also on MySpace.  Mosey on by and add them to your nowhere-near-as-big-as-Dane-Cook’s friend list.  Tell ‘em Bad Apple Shirts sent you.  They’ll have no idea who you’re talking about.

E-Mail them.  Maybe they’ll cosign for ya.

They really want to be your friend.

They’re always giving away crap you’d want.

Tell your friends!

If all else, just go to their page to see the hot chicks they get to dress in geek dresses.  You know you’d do Carol Danvers if you could…

Extreme Makeover: Web Edition!

Welcome back, true believers!  We are, once again, redoing the way we do business on the net.  We’ve gone back to the drawing board for our store and should be back with a more permanent fixture here on the website.  For now you still have the CafePress and BigCartel stores you can check out.  We’ve also been super busy making t-shirts for the Inland Empire Brewing Company out in Riverside, California.  These guys really know their beer and are expected to open up shop in early 2008.  If you’re out in that area, we seriously suggest you drop them a line and see what they have!  You can also buy one of their shirts (made by Bad Apple Shirts) for $15 to help finance their launch!  Keep tuned here because we may be offering their shirts for sale, too.  And now for the new stuff…

We’ve got a shirt available at our CafePress store.  We’ve set up a special place for it all on its lonesome.  Whether you’re a fan of the Zelda legacy or the new Heroes show on NBC (which we also highly recommend), you’re bound to love this shirt.

Halo 3 at Best Buy

Hey, guys. I’m out tonight waiting in line at Best Buy for Halo 3. I’ll probably be up all night breaking it in. Shoot me an email ::halo3 [at] badappleshirts [dot] com:: if you’d like my GamerTag. I could always use some more meat shields. I’m also gonna make some shirts for the guys that are standing with me. You know who you are. Send me an email to the same address for some more info if you’d like one.
