Well, it’s official.  History has been made.  Barack Obama has somehow won the presidency!  Like we didn’t see that coming.  He was a shoo-in when he won the nomination.  Congrats and stuff.

I’ve spent the last couple of days working on our designs and the new store!  That’s right, Bad Apple Shirts finally has an integrated store!  Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done.  Expect to see a few changes around here over the next few days, but nothing major; just colour and font type/size and the like.  I’ve added the 5 favourite shirts as determined by ordering trends from our CafePress shop.  These shirts are 100% silk screened on-site and shipped directly from us to you!  So  you have a much higher quality product for a smaller price.  Plus, you get the added protection of PayPal to secure your transactions!  You can’t get it much better than that!  More shirt designs will be added to the silk screen selection soon!  Let us know what you’d like to see here!

With all the excitement buzzing in the air here at Bad Apple Shirts, you’d think we were at a summertime mosquito farm!  Luckily for us we didn’t eat the bananas.  We’ve finally come out of the Dark Ages and purchased a silk screen for our shop!  No more printing shirts by hand for us!  We’ve just received a 4-colour press from the fine people at Ryonet.  There was a glitch in the order, so we’re still waiting on a new bolt for our platen, but once it arrives, we’ve got shirts to do!  We’ll also be printing up some sample shirts to send out for free ($5 for shipping) for organizations that wish to consider us to fulfill their t-shirt needs.  Stay tuned for updates.

With Halloween just around the corner, it’s no wonder we’d be talking about Zombies.  We think you’ll like the comic strip Ted & Zed by Mac L. Pirata.  Here’s a quick bio of Ted and Zed:

Welcome back, true believers!  We are, once again, redoing the way we do business on the net.  We’ve gone back to the drawing board for our store and should be back with a more permanent fixture here on the website.  For now you still have the CafePress and BigCartel stores you can check out.  We’ve also been super busy making t-shirts for the Inland Empire Brewing Company out in Riverside, California.  These guys really know their beer and are expected to open up shop in early 2008.  If you’re out in that area, we seriously suggest you drop them a line and see what they have!  You can also buy one of their shirts (made by Bad Apple Shirts) for $15 to help finance their launch!  Keep tuned here because we may be offering their shirts for sale, too.  And now for the new stuff…

We’ve got a shirt available at our CafePress store.  We’ve set up a special place for it all on its lonesome.  Whether you’re a fan of the Zelda legacy or the new Heroes show on NBC (which we also highly recommend), you’re bound to love this shirt.

We’ve got the bugs worked out (most of them, at least) and finally got a basic sort of store for those shirts that we print in-house! We now have an extremely limited number of shirts available for purchase at our new store. These are silk-screened shirts! Once you the word gets out that we’re doing these in-house and start buying from our new store, we’ll begin to move some of your favourite shirts over. If you’d like to see a different shirt offered, feel free to voice your opinion in the comments section! We read them all!
